123 Digital Limited Brings Dazzle To SVG

Award-winning Saint Lucian-produced publication, Dazzle Magazine, is spreading its influence further afield. Earlier this month, the first issue of Dazzle Magazine SVG rolled off the presses in neighbouring Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.


Dazzle Magazine
is the brainchild of Irvine Springer and Rankin Morgan of 123 Digital Limited, a Saint Lucian digital technology-based company nearly two years old. Springer is the company’s Finance Director, while Morgan serves as Managing Director. 123 Digital Limited won the Idea of the Year Award at the 2013 St. Lucia Business Awards held last January. Dazzle Magazine, the Saint Lucian version, was unveiled just months before the award came. Nevertheless, it seems that ever since the release of the publication, there’s no stopping its popularity. Now Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can boast having one of the most interesting and eagerly-anticipated magazines within the region.

The SVG launch of Dazzle Magazine SVG took place on Wednesday, August 14 at Flow Wine Bar, in Saint Vincent. Business partners in the new magazine venture include Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle and Dawson Lewis, founders of Full Works GD Ltd. Both Doyle and Lewis share the same vision: to highlight and expose new Vincentian talent.

The cover photo of the inaugural edition of Dazzle Magazine SVG features Karen Veira, well-known in Saint Vincent for her long and passionate involvement in the event and entertainment management on that island. Veira has a long history associated with planning events, especially during the Vincy Mas season. In fact, she brings her wide range of expertise to the fore in orchestrating the elaborate stage performances for business partner, Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle, billed the top soca artiste in the SVG.

Special guests at the August 14th launch of Dazzle Magazine SVG included Candice Sealy (St. Vincent Brewery Ltd), Juno Deroche, Danielle Cupid and Brenda Barbour (Digicel), Leroy Rose Jr. (BoSVG), Dr. Ken Uno (Beachmont Eye Institute), Lennox Bowman GECCU), Coreas Hazells, and Ezworth Roberts.

DazzleCover_SVG123 Digital Limited specialises in digital media: Web development, Web solutions, Market research, Sales Analysis, and Web Analysis. The company also does digital publications – the Dazzle Magazine SLU and Dazzle Magazine SVG being among them. Another magazine, geared towards the tourism sector, is about to be rolled out by the fresh and innovative company.

Dazzle Magazine’s target audience is professionals between ages 18 to 65. Some of the topics highlighted in the magazine are professional development, gadgets and gizmos, health tips, dressing for success, how to handle criticism effectively in the workplace, and interviewing skills.

“Everything in our magazines is geared towards educating, inspiring and developing one’s self, especially young professionals and entrepreneurs,” Morgan said in a recent interview. “So more or less, we’re giving them guidance.”
